offline iphone not working

new to spotify premium, signed up because i wanted to listen to my albums and playlists on my iphone 5 whilst offline. but whenever i go offline, it says:

track only available online

this track is not synced and not available offline. connect to a network and try again.

I have my wifi on and my laptop and phone are connected to the same network. i have shut down spotify on both devices, and restarted. any ideas?

I am having the same problem! it stops syncing once it gets to a certain song and I tried just deleting that one song off the playlist and it still did not work.
