playlist cover not changing

i changed the covers on my playlists on desktop but when i go on the mobile app (iphone) they are still the same and won't update. i've tried exiting the app and reloading it multiple times and also logged out but nothing happened. does anyone know what the issue might be? thx!!!!!!

It might take some time for the changes to be reflected. 

I'd recommend waiting 24 h and if after that time the updated covers are still not displayed, make sure to perform clean reinstall of your Spotify app. It's different than regular reinstallation.
Just find your device in this article and follow the steps provided there.
