premium user can't turn off shuffle play

premium user can't turn off shuffle play

Hi. I'm a premium spotif user and have just changed my phone to an I phone 6. No matter how many times I delete and reload Spotify app and sign out / in I can't get rid of shuffle play.

When I try to get rid of shuffle play it comes up with the attached image.

I am a Spotify premium customer- this has only happen since changing my phone. My wife has no problems on her older iPhone 5 and works no problem.

At my wits end. Please help!!!

Hey @MikeEdmonds, help's at hand!

We suspect that you might have a second account on the Free tier. This is possibly what you're logging in with on your new device.

 

Does your Premium account log in using Facebook, or do you enter a username and password? 

 

We'd suggest going to your Account Overview and clicking 'Sign Out Everywhere'. Once that's done, ensure that you're logging back in with your Premium account details.

Or, we can recommend getting in contact with us directly via email, or by tweeting our support handle, if you're still having difficulty working out the usernames of any other Free / Premium accounts that you might have. We'll be able to help you out further and take a look under the hood.
