"An error occurred" when searching on iOS

Every time I try to search in Spotify for iOS, I get an error with no description. Screenshot attached. 

I've already unlinked my iPhone from my account, deleted, restarted the phone and reinstalled the app twice. 

Combined with the removal of notifications on desktop, Spotify is effectively unuseable and not justifying the $10 price tag. Please advise, as I have been to be a daily user of Spotify for years but since it is not working, I subcribed Apple Music and am considering canceling my Spotify subscription.

This doesn't look good. 

Have you tried performing a clean reinstallation of the app by following the steps here? How does that help?

Can you also let us know the iOS device/version of Spotify you're using? We'll take a closer look for you.

I have the same problem (and other people too) only in ios. I've tryed a clean reinstallation and a logout/login but nothing is change. ios 9.3.4 on Ipod touch and spotify 5.7.0.1055

Hi, yes as I mentioned in the original post I've deleted and reinstalled the app twice already (and lost all my saved music in the process). 

V 5.7.0 on iOS 9.3.4

Thanks for getting back to me with the details.

I can see you're connected via WiFi.

Have you tried restarting your router/modem by switching it off and back on for a couple of minutes? Does that help at all?

Can you also try connecting via 3/4G to see if this works using an alternative internet connection.

In my case I try with my Ipod touch in two different wi-fi but the problem remain. With the wi-fi in my home spotify on android or windows pc never had this problem
