"You have already authorised Spotify" login issue

"You have already authorised Spotify" login issue

Just bought a new iPhone and downloaded Spotify. Tried to login through Facebook (as usual) and it came up saying "you have already authorised Spotify" so I tap okay. I then get a message saying "could not connect to Facebook". I managed to log in just fine on the safari app so I removed my old device from the list (I am a premium user, the other two devices are my dad's and my sister's) but still got the message.

Also tried logging in manually using both my Facebook email and password and my actual name on Facebook and was met with "could not find the Spotify network (DNS problem occurred) make sure your network connection is working and try again". Can someone please help me with this issue?

Hey @Yakobe,

 

That's a connection based error which means the Spotify client was unable to communicate with the Spotify servers. Normally it does mean your connection is being prevented by a firewall or other security software - but it can also be caused by other factors. You could try to connect using a different Wifi network, just to see if it's a local issue or a network one.
