recently played music not updating

I have an Iphone SE and usually my recently played music updates very quickly. For the past two weeks, it has been updating VERY slowly. I have tried using BOTH my wireless network and WIFI- it doesn't update the same for either. I am really missing this feature functioning correctly. Thank you!!!

According to what you're letting us know, our best suggestion would be to give Spotify a clean reinstall with the steps you'll find here. Keep in mind that you'll need to resync all your downloaded songs (in case you have any).
