resubscribed to Premium but can't find my old thousand songs :(

resubscribed to Premium but can't find my old thousand songs :(

Hi, I have no idea if this is a way too public place for this extremely specific question, if so let me know and I'll try asking an email address or somewhere more direct.

I first subscribed to Spotify in 2013 and developed a very dear to my heart bunch of playlists over a year with a thousand awesome songs that were obscure and I loved them. I assumed that they'd always be in my "Spotify cloud" so I felt okay temporarily unsubscribing when I went back to school and got a bit pov. Well now I've resubscribed with the awesome $0.99 x 3 month deal and I was so excited to see my old favourite songs but there was nothing to be found.

I created the account with the same email address and password as my first account but a different phone. I had the old Spotify app and all my playlisted songs on my MacBook which I still currently have but I'm too nervous to download the app and log in there in case I screw it up on the only other device I ran it threw.

Anyway I would really appreciate any help at all. If it makes a difference I didn't download most of the songs for offline listening I hope that doesn't mean they're all gone :S
my email is/was: ************@hotmail.com and I found through searching eveywhere that my ID number was **************.

Thanks so much, sorry about the rushed **bleep**ness

Hey @TashGambas,

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

  • If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.
