I've tried to 'get track' for all the songs i've been listening to, but it says downloads are no longer available? If this is the case how do i get my tracks onto my ipod touch? I have spotify premium but cant get my tracks off my computer

Heya!

You need to install the Spotify app on your iPod touch too.

With that you can access your playlists on your iPod touch. If you want to hear the songs offline, there is a button to sync the playlist for offline use.
