spotify family premium doesn't work

my mom took spotify family premium and shared it with me. I got the email with the code and I activated my profile but it still says that I've the free abonnement. Why? Thanks

Hey @carodecrom, this is definitely not cool! Are you able to ask your mother to check the Family page under the Spotify account settings and see if you are showing up in there?

If you have redeemed the Family subscription properly, it should say "active" under your name, otherwise it may offer an option to re-send the email.
