spotify pausing when facebook used on Iphone5- cant use both at same time

Hi

I have made no changes to my spotify app or my facebook app on my iphone 5 but as of this morning I cant listen to spotify and use fb at the same time

whatever i am listening to on spotify pauses when i open my fb app 

when i click back on spotify app the song picsk up where it left off

i have changed automatic video playing in fb but still no joy

other apps eg twitter all ok

my spotify account is NOT synced to my fb account 

please help

This usually happens because of the videos that play inside of the Facebook app.

You mentioned that you turned auto video playback off.

Did you try exiting out of both the Spotify and Facebook app completely, and then reopen both of them?

had logged out and back into facebook

just did spotify and happy to report it now works- that old chestnut eh!
