When I click skip to next track button, I hear a deep weird sound like crackle.

Is it possible to send us a short recording of the issue? Does this happen with all tracks? How about podcasts?

Please also try reinstalling the app and test if it happens with a different internet connection.

Just to confirm, did you already try the troubleshooting suggested by @MihailY?
 

If not, we'd recommend that you do that as this way you'll make sure that you're running the latest app version with all necessary updates and fixes. In addition, any corrupted files that might be interfering with the app's performance on your device will be removed. 

In case the issue persists, we'd suggest that you double-check if there is any update available for your device's operating system. You can check by heading to Settings > General > Software Update.
