won't download offline mode

I'm downloading one of my playlists on my ipod to listen offline and it starts the download but in the middle it stops downloading the rest of the playlist and the song it stops on doesn't have a green or Gray arrow so what can I do? How do I continue without restarting the entire playlist

Usually the download stops when you close the app. But then - after opening the app the next time - the download goes on. Could it be that you've reached the download limit of 3.333 tracks per device? (Did you download other playlists with a lot of music)?

Also, do you have at least 2GB of free storage on your iPod? I'd check that first. Let me know if all of the mentioned possibilities aren't true for you.
