So, i just got Spotify Premium. I made a playlist for "Oasis - Definitely Maybe". Oasis is not on spotify so the songs are local files. On my Mac it works fine, but when I sync them to my iPhone somethings goes wrong. Some songs are directly "transferred" but are not the actually songs but really boring piano covers! HELP!!

Alright, I found a solution. In Spotify on your computer, "unlink" the track and then resync to your iphone.
All the steps you need to sync your local files up can be found right here.
yes, that's what i've done! Somehow the "piano songs" immediatly appear when i switch on "offline mode" in the playlist. The have different artwork and are not stored on my Mac. The rest of the playlist are the songs from my computer.
Same here. I can listen "live forever" fine on my mac but whenever i use my iphone to listen to the "same" song in the same playlist, it just plays "live forever", the melancholy version...
very annoying.
I've also noticed a similar problem. I have several spotify playlists that I have had for years and from time to time tracks get removed by the record label and what normally happens is that the tracks becomes unplayable and are "greyed out". However just recently (not sure if related to last ios version) when this happens instead of being greyed out the track is replaced either by a bad tribute act version or by a live version of the same track. Now the latter is not so bad but I would rather you reverted to the original action which was to grey out the track so that I could search for a more suitable version myself. I'll give you an example: "Trains from Brazil" by the Guillemotts was in my playlist and suddenly the album version has been replaced by a live version in my playlist, which in my opinion isn't as good. I searched Spotify and found the album version of the track on a NME compilation album so was able to replace the live version with this version. The random removing of tracks in itself is a completely different issue and one that I think Spotify needs to work harder to resolve with record labels. Some tracks have been available for years on Spotify and then all of a sudden they disappear. Really frustrating!!
Same here. ACDC replaced by some live swedish trbiute thing that is just awful. Whats going on?
I'm having the same issue. Added a new local track "Don't" by Phoenix, which plays fine on my computer through Spotify, but when synced to my iphone 5 is "Don't Stop" by Phoenix Harmony. Any ideas here?

That do not work for me..
I have the exakt same problem on Android.
I can unlink the track on my PC wich works fine but I still cannot get the right track to the mobile.
