Since Grooveshark died I want to use a new platform. Downloading music is a hassle and doesn't compensate artists. Spotify seems popular, so I decided to give it a go (and I intend to become a subscriber if it works well enough). So far I'm disappointed by the support: I have to ask on a public forum? There is no number to call for support nor is there a contact form I can use (yeah there is a form but none of the categories fit -- like always with those dumb forms).
Downloading the Linux client gives an error:
# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free
# apt-get update > /dev/null
W: Failed to fetch http://repository.spotify.com/dists/stable/non-free/binary-amd64/Packages Hash Sum mismatch
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
# apt-get install spotify-client

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?
As you can see, it fails to download -- in fact it fails to perform apt-get update. It's something on your end. Please fix or update the instructions on the website if the URLs have changed.
