This is has been an unresolved bug/oversight on all platforms since at least 2014. Spotify really stands out because you can use secondary devices to remote control music playing on another. You can change songs, albums, like, download etc. However, pausing the current music often causes the remote device to disconnect😄? This is a blaring oversight in basic functionality. Please figure out why and finally patch Spotify. Thanks
Workaround: If you’re using wireless headphones that are connected to the device running Spotify, you can use the headphone’s controls to restart the music after a disconnect. The remote device will then reconnect shortly thereafter, most of the time.😃
