0 Friends on Facebook

Hi,

I have been facing this issue since the start. i'm connected to facebook but i cannot see my friends on spotify and neither can they look for me.

I havent been able to follow a single friend from facebook. When ever i try it says "Sorry, something went wrong." with a subscript saying 'Your facebook friends arent on spotify yet. Invite them!."

Also mine is a premium account.

Wanted to get this issue sorted asap and looked for help on community but couldnt find any solution.

Have you checked you settings in the spotify app on facebook? That one can be found here.

Hey! Yea I did. It's on public. Has access to facebook. I don't understand what the problem is.

Can you find them while using spotify:user:<your username> in the searchbar?

If not, you should try a clean reinstall. To do that, follow the steps listed in the tutorial that I've linked.

Note: After deleting the client, make sure there are no files left in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify before installing it again!

Okay! And what about for the Spotify android app? The same problem occurs on the phone as well.

Just to be safe, you could try a reinstall there too.

All I did was go under Apps in Facebook and delete spotify and open spotify again and it asked me to connect to Facebook and they are there again
