My Question or Issue

When I try to login to my Spotify App on my Mac mini I get always an Error Message 

Username or Password wrong. Errorcode: auth:2 

When I try to log me in to the Spotify Website al works as expected. 

I get the same Error also on my Win10 notebook and on my iPhone.

I would recommend trying to change the account's password (here) just in case it'll do the trick.

thanks for the answer.

I changed the password. But the new password works only in the Spotify app on my Mac mini. 

On the iPhone and the Lenovo I must use the old password.

If you've managed changing your password on the account and you're still able to log in on another account with the old password, it might indicate you have more than one account.

 

Please use this help page to try and locate all of the account listed with your details.

make sure to type in all the possible email addresses you may have used to subscribe.

i have and found only one Account. 

 

it seems that i created the Account in the past over Facebook i mean i clicked on the button use Facebook to login when you know what i mean. 🙂 

 

Can this be the Issue?  🤔

Because i wrote that when you created the Account over FB you can´t close the Connection between FB and Spotify. 

But when that is the issue why can i can log in with the new password only on my Mac Mini and not on the other Devices. On the other devices i must use the FB Login Password. 🤔

Can you check if the autofill is activated on the other devices? If it is, you can turn it off and then try again logging in to the account. We'd suggest you also restart the devices.
