My Question or Issue

I'm getting a giant Little Mermaid ad on my screen, even though I pay for Premium. I spent over an hour trying to get an answer out of Customer Service, only for one of them to send

"When you listen your music doesn't get interrupted at all. This is what is happening now. This is an icon on the homepage due to an update that we recently had not an ad that comes up when you listen.

If the user pushes back, reply with: I'm afraid this isn't something customer service can help with. Unless you have a technical or payment issue, I'll be ending this chat." And then they ended the chat without telling me how to remove it or how to prevent it in the future.

Can you please post a screenshot of the 'ad' you're seeing?

 

Also, you can make sure that the Show announcements about new releases option is disabled in the settings of the Spotify desktop app.
