Can I have the IP addresses of my account logins?

Can I have the IP addresses of my account logins?

I suspect my ex has been repeatedly hacking two Spotify accounts I have and feeding me purposefully painful songs to harass me. She denies this completely, but I have received several automated emails of suspicious logins from the platform. The problem is the emails state the entire US as the source, so I can't confirm it's her. I want this information in order to take action and secure my accounts.

Hey, @firstname1234
Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

Sorry to know your account has been compromised several times. It's not possible to have access to an access log of your account, but I do recommend you follow the following steps to secure your account immediately:

  • First of all, you change your password.
  • Also, you can go to your account page and click SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE as well.
It's also strongly advised that you change the password for the email address associated with your Spotify account (e.g. with Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) or any Facebook profile associated with your Spotify account. You can make sure you're the only one currently logged into your Facebook in your Facebook Settings, under Security and login > Where You’re Logged In.

Last, but not least, you can get more tips and tricks to protect your account here.

Stay awesome!

If you have further questions or if you need anything else, let me know! I'd love to help!

Regards,
Luan

Hi, I have followed these steps several times and she still is able to access my account.

Why can I not have this log? The IP address was clearly flagged as suspicious already and I just need the details.

Hey there @firstname1234,

Thanks for your response here.

It' good that you've followed the recommendations suggested earlier by @Luan. It might also be a good move to change the password of the email account associated with your Spotify, as it could also have been compromised.

Also, please keep in mind that the Community is a public forum and it's not the right place for supporting issues that concern your personal data and account. If you still need some help with actions on your profile, it's best to contact our Support team who can give you a hand with this matters, privately.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any other questions, the Community is here for you.

I have reached out to support also. Despite taking these steps there are still changes being made in my account that do not originate from me. Support has claimed there is no evidence of suspicious activity in my accounts, despite the fact that I have received auto-generated emails from the platform warning me of suspicious logins. I don't really understand how support can claim there is no evidence of suspicious activity in the account, when there has been a feature designed into the platform to warn users there has been a suspicious login that has been triggered, but support team refuses to offer any further information.

My email account is 2FA and has shown no sign of breach. As per the purpose of this community, I have voted to request Spotify add that feature in a separate post.
