Hi all,

 

I just received an e-mail regarding a renewal for my Spotify Premium subscription. I applied for a 30-day trial of Premium, but it just sucks when I haven't received any notification days before the renewal date (today). Yes, I know that I should've put it on my diary but nonetheless, is there any way that I can be refunded. I am not interested in having another month of Premium. It's a good service but I don't wanna shell out 10 quid for it, not now.

Before a trial user should remember that Spotify can activate subscription after trial. User need to cancel subscription before renewal date. In this case user can still use a trial or other paid subscription to the end.

 

You may be able to get a refund, just do not log in to Spotify when your subscription is started. If you already used it, even if you do not listen any music, Spotify can't refund.

 

However, you need to contact via Contact form where you can ask for possible refund.

Oh no! I have used it an hour after the e-mail has arrived to my inbox. I have my plea can be considered. I was gonna opt for the £5 student discount but I never knew that it would be renewed today. 😕

You can cancel your subscription right away and use it for the end. Then you can re-subscribe with student discount if you like to do so. You can re-subscribe with student discount when you receive a Free service back.

I'll be doing that once I have sufficient funds. For the time being, my main concern is the recent renewal, which I didn't really want.
