Can't buy premium

Hey all!

 

Need some help.

 

Since I wanted to buy premium here today its just sayed to me: Error, Please wait a while.

So I couldn't confirm my purchase. 

That was what happened when used Chrome.

So then I tried out with Internet explorer, it say that I come from another country than my Mastercard is registered.

My mastercard are registered in Denmark, I am located in Denmark, country set to on Spotify is Denmark.

So can't really figure out what's wrong, any idea?

BELDEGAR - I can see you were able to upgrade this morning. Are you receiving Premium on your mobile devices yet?

Please give upgrading another try using a different internet browser.

The same happend to me too, i dont now what to do..

I have the same problem.
First it said there was a payment issue, that spotify was unable to withdraw money form my account. Then suddenly i got spotify free and all of a sudden I am not able to upgrade my spotify to a premium account. It says something like: Error please try again later", I bet even if i waited untill later it still would not work. Though i have money on my account, this i am sure of.

Same problem, so guess we have to wait until later when Spotify have fixed there payment problems.

Still geting this message:
"Payment failed. Please make sure that you have sufficient funds and that your credit card has not expired, if you're using one. To see your current payment details please go to your subscriptions page. If you still get this message after updating your payment details please log out, log in and then try again."

Ofc I have money in my account...

Hi everyone-- Sounds like our website just had a bit of a hiccup yesterday. Please give it another try today and let us know if you receive that " Error please try again later" message.

 

@Hodarib- There are a couple things I recommend doing here. First, try changing your Internet browser--making sure to clear the cache as well.

 

Then make sure your card meets all the following requirements to work on our site:

 

1. Your card must not have expired. If you have received a new card, please update your card details on your Subscription page: https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/
2. The country set in your Spotify account profile must match the country where your card is registered. 
3. Your card should be enabled for e-commerce transactions (Verified by Visa/Mastercard securecard card).
4. Your card must be open to be used for foreign purchases.
5. There are some banks that require other security authentifications, the most common one being 3DSecure.

It's still the same problem for me too. I have forfilled all the requirements and also tried on different browsers. The same message is popping up that i'm unable to purchase and that i have to check my payment options and try to log out and log in again.
The creditcard i am using was used to buy something else a few days ago over the internet from another country so it is nothing wrong with the card.
This is bull**bleep** -.-

johland - I've just taken a look at your account, and it indeed does seem that the payment had been rejected a number of times. What kind of card are you using?

It is a visa card. From Sweden

Hmm. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work. However, one thing you might want to try is connecting that card to a paypal account, and then trying to pay through that. That might get the payment working.

I do not want to try paypal as a preliminary choice but i will first try to use another card later and if that does not work i will just wait a few days to se if it works then

Parents that accidentaly changed the card settings so it wasn't possible to use it for payments outside of the country.
And not telling me this when trying to use the card.
Hahahaha my bad for complaining and thanks for the fast reply! 😄
