Can't play my own playlists - Spotify client PC.

Can't play my own playlists - Spotify client PC.

Hello there guys. 

 

Problem:

I hit play on any pf my playlist or song inside my playlist and wont plat, just change the icon from play to pause, but nothing more no song show on the top of the screen or the bottom (still the last playable song). If I search for the song or go to public playlist or albums that works with out any problem

 

What I tried (nothing worked)

- Log out/log in

- Changed the temp folder to a new location

- Uninstalled spotify and deleted the folder spotify from Appdata/local/spotify and reinstalled. 

 

What happend the last days with my accound:

one or 2 weeks ago I changed my credit card for another one (From Argentina to USA Credit card), dont seems to be the problem because spotify still saying premium, and I can play my playlist on the phone without any problem (even not the one that I have on offline mode).

 

Any sugestions?

What version of Spotify does your computer say is installed?

I uninstaled and reinstalled lasted version from spotify Web yesterday. So
I guess is the latest. If you still need me to check Ill do. (not near the
computer now)

As long as it's the latest version, you should be good there. Next let's look at your computer settings. What do you have there for your current operating system and version (assuming Windows, correct)?

Yap. Windows 7. Lasted patches of Windows update too.

Hmm...may be some more behind the scenes. I recommend reaching out directly to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form.

If you submit the contact form instead of the Twitter Message, make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify.

Following this up. I contacted using the contact form, we exchanged a few emails and we understand that the problem is with the account. No matter in which pc I install spotify when I log in with my account the playlists wont work. The mac and the android clients works without any problem. Until here is ok (I lost like 2 days testing things but is ok.) NOW, the solution is the problem. They say that need to create a new account, migrate the playlist, enter again payment method, loosing my username, loosing all my following and followers, all the links of my playlist that I share around forums, etc. and this this can happen again because they don't really know what is happening but they accept that this happen to others users too. I'm not really happy with spotify at this point...

BTW, every time that I post  here, I receive an email that I have a new rank 😞

*Update*

On the new account the playlist didnt work either!

I was almost near to destroy my computer until I saw that the Spotify support copy 2 playlist and the rest just linked (like Im following other user) those playlist didnt work, but I created new playlist and copy the songs and that works. (but I saw that, not the support) they almost deleted my old account loosing all my playlist! But yes, the problems was something about my old account and windows, for some strange reason those old playlist (I even tried to create new playlist on the old account and didnt work) wont play on windows client, not just on the account but on any other user that linked directly to those playlists. Super weir

BTW, since I have new account and this one is going for delete, I dont know if this message will keep here on the forum or will be lost too

I just escalated with the moderators to see if we can get you some more assistance here.
