Can't redeem code

I got a redeem code after referring a friend but am told that it doesn't work becuase it's for the wrong country. Both myself and my friend are accessing from the UK!

Please help.

If I'm not mistaken, the Spotify referall program is only open for U.S. residents.

Update: I messaged Spotify to see if it's possible for you to redeem the code.
