I just finished using my free Premium Trial and wanted to cancel my subscription before being charge for the next month. I think the service is great and a wonderful tool to have on my iphone, but I just cannot afford another monthly payment for something else at the moment. When I go to cancel my subscription, it takes me thru a series of pages to where I can finally "cancel" my subscription. When I attempt to proceed, the site asks me to re-enter my password for validation and when I do so, it tells me that my password is incorrect.
My Spotify account is linked to my Facebook, so when I enter in my e-mail address to obtain a new password, it gives me the message that says I should change my password on Facebook. Upon changing my Facebook password, I returned to the page to re-enter my password for validation and it still reads as incorrect. I've tried my E-mail password and my Facebook password and neither is accepted. When I try to get a new password because I may have forgotten one, it doesn't assist me like it should.
Is this some scheme that Spotify created that forces users to stick with Premium subscriptions? Why won't they let me access my own information to cancel a subscription?!

I have had the same problem with no resolution. Can anyone help?
If there are any moderators out there, I filled out the Contact Form and was given the reference no. 327944.
I also noticed that as I was filling out the Contact Form, it fills in your account information for you and under payment information it lists "Netgiro" as my method of payment. I paid with a Visa credit card. SO, does that mean my account has been hacked?
Crisis resolved. The cancellation pages were updated within the past 12 hrs it would seem, as it brought me to a separate page to enter my Facebook password this time around.

I'm having a similar issue.
I signed up for the 30-day free trial of Spotify Premium and it was great having it on my Windows phone as well.
Although, I cannot afford $9.99 subscription fees. So well before my trial will end, I went through the process of cancelling it. And I was then sent to the page saying I have essentially been successful at the cancellation. So good, great, wonderful, and peaches and cream....right?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
That being said, on the date I suppose my trial would have originally expired, Spotify took out a $9.99 subscription fee out of my bank account.
Now, this is very unfortunate for me as I did NOT have enough in my bank account to cover a $9.99 spotify subscription fee. Now, I am being charged with over-withdrawn fees that are escalating every other day. I cannot afford $80 worth of fees.
I would appreciate any immediate help on this issue of mine, I have already sent a message through the contact window, although I have not received any email replying to it.
Thank you.
