Cannot change subscription options

Cannot change subscription options

Everytime i try to change my subscription details. i click update details , nothing happens.

 

im being charged a spotify subscription , but have no idea what its being charged to at all. and i cannot change it no matter how many times ive tried clicking it. the screen just refreshes and it sits there. ive tried on Chrome, Safari, and Internet explorer. Android, and Iphone 6 plus browsers.

 

Ive emailed spotify ~4 times. everytime, spotify responds to me with an automated email telling me how to get to the description page. REFUSING to read the email stating that when i click update details. nothing happens.

It could be that there is a credit card linked to your iTunes account.

 

It would be billed to that credit card and listed as a purchase from iTunes.

To me it looks like you have subscribed to premium through the iPhone or iPad app.

 

The iOS app charges $12.99 instead of the reguar $9.99 because Apple adds a fee to it. It costs less if you subscribe through the Spotify website.


To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.

ive come to that conclusion. with that being said. i dont believe i have any funds in my itunes account so does that mean the subscription is being passed off into my mobile bill as an itune store purchase?

i'll have to check the itunes funds. you have been more helpful than the automated email responses from spotify. thanks !

MattSuda is correct. my itunes was being billed and paid for with a gift card. now i have it set to my credit card and at ease. Thanks !!!
