Changind my facebook password deleted everything from my spotify account - why??

Changind my facebook password deleted everything from my spotify account - why??

Someone please help me! I changed my Facebook password and now everything, all the Starred music and my playlists are gone! I don't understand, my username is still the same... I want my music back! Is there anything I can do?

Hey there, you've actually got a few accounts under the same email address, but if you use your username to login rather than your full email address, you'll get access to your account that has a few playlists on it.

 

If that's not the right account, get in touch here and one of our support team will get back to you as soon as they can. If you get an automated response, reply back to it directly.

Hi there, the same just happened to me. Everytime I loggied on I was logged straight back out again and now i've  managed to get on my account, all of the people/bands I was following are gone, including starred music and playlists 😞 Please help!

@frenchylb - Are you logging in using your Spotify username or via Facebook? If you can't find your original account, get in touch using the link Adam posted above and a member of the team will be able to lend a hand.

Tried to log-in with my spotify username but it won't work, so instead just did it on facebook. I feel like I am on the right account except everything is gone.. thanks for the suggestion, I've just sent them a question!

Im not using my full email adress as my username, and there is nothing on my real username, verything is gone. I send a message to that email address but i cant reply back to them cause the address is no-reply@spotify.com ? That message I got from there didn't help at all. Im so confused.

Just reply directly to the no-reply email, it will get to an adviser (despite it being from no-reply!).
