Premium / I canceled it to change country but it won't help

My Question or Issue

 

 

Hello.

Me and my wife both using Spotify Premium Duo. And we moved from Russia to Georgia 3 months ago.

 

As I see after the war started there is no way to change country in account settings, neither to change cart to my new card from Georgian bank. As I understand there will be no possibility to use Spotify after next payment date.

 

Your FAQ told me that there is no need to change country if I am on Premium plan, but I definitely do.

 

So I do not know that to do.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

You should be able to update your country setting by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Under Your plan, click UPDATE next to your payment method.
  3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region.

The changes will take effect from your next billing date.

 

If you're not seeing the UPDATE button or are seeing any error message(s), please post a screenshot of it 🙂

Thanks for posting the screenshot, it really helps 🙂

 

In this case, you have to wait until your plan reverts to Free (1st of April, 2022). Once that happened, you'll be able to change your country setting by following the steps here.

 

Once the country has been set to the correct one, you can get Premium Duo again and invite your wife back to the plan.
