Last week I updated my home address with my bank. That triggerd several errors with services registered with my bank card. Spotify categorized is as an error with my bank account and tried to make the charge go through 4 times, each time charging my account 12.99 (I signed up via the app store and have since realized I could be paying 9.99 via this website). The charges are still pending, but once I updated my itunes with my new bank information the problem didn't resolve itself. My premium stopped working and my app suggested that I update my card info on this site, which I just did only... this site basically viewed it as a brand new sign up (even though all the verbaige was telling me to 'update card info') and I was then charged the 9.99.

 

I've contacted my bank and they said that I needed to contact Spotify. My question is... When will the 4 12.99 charges be deleted? Will only 3 be deleted and the origial, monthly charge of 12.99 stay? If so, will the new 9.99 charge be deleted?

 

All I wanted to do was update my bank with my new address. The domino effect is real. Real I tell you.

Thanks for the heads up and welcome to the Community.

 

If you were paying for Spotify via iTunes, make sure that your subscription is canceled by following these steps. Then try reaching out to Apple directly and they should help you with any unwanted charges.
