Commercial considerations

I’ve become aware that Spotify has “commercial considerations” that influence the creation of automated playlists. I object to this change, whenever it took place, and request that my account be returned to a status that allows me to use the platform without invisible hands guiding my music experience. Making such an adjustment is unconscionable in a world where art is already losing its standing in reality and becoming almost purely a thing of commerce. Spotify should be ashamed.

I recommend you to;

Creating your own playlists – This way, your music is just what you want, no algorithm pushing it.
Turning off Autoplay – Go to Settings > Playback and turn it off to stop automatic song suggestions.
Sticking to your Liked Songs – This keeps your music experience more personal and less affected by recommendations.
