Dead link in email from Spotify community (view your profile)

Dead link in email from Spotify community (view your profile)

The link to view profile (to see new badges etc) that's in the automated email from Spotify Community is no good - leads to an error screen.

Is this just me or is the template out of date?

Subject line of problem email reads "Congratulations! You have a new rank in the Spotify Community" and the link is in the last line of text "Visit your profile page...".  I didnt include the actual link in case it's specific to my profile.

Hey @JulianFletcher,

Can you please post a screenshot of the error page?

Thanks. 🙂

Thanks for the screenshot.

Can you please try to open the link in a private/incognito window?

Sorry, I was away for a few days.  Tried in Chrome Incognito window and I get the same error. (Edit: just noticed the Exception ID does seem to change depending whether I click, open in incognito, open in new tab, or open in new window).

Does this mean the link does still work for others and the issue is specific to me?

If it's specific to me, no need to take it any further as I'm happy to get to my profile without this link.  I was concerned about new users who may not realise there is another way to reach their profile.

Hey, @JulianFletcher,

Thanks for your patience 🙂

Spotify is aware of this issue and is looking into it.

In the meantime, can you let me know if you have tried the following yet:

  1. Trying it on another device (maybe it's different on a mobile/tablet device?)
  2. Trying it in another browser

Thanks!
