Each time I try to add a email for sign in it says something went wrong

Each time I try to add a email for sign in it says something went wrong

I am trying to add a email for login on my duo plan so the other person can login to the account. Each time I try it says something went wrong on the password page and the page won't let me complete adding the email. I have 10 different passwords each having 10 characters, letters and numbers and some with a special character.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome to the forum!

 

Keep in mind that each Spotify account is intended for personal use and we always advise to be mindful and not share your password with others.

 

If you've got a Duo plan, each of you uses your own Spotify account and log in with your own credentials (email and password).

 

When it comes to the email address, could you confirm if you're trying to update it when you get the error message? First, make sure that you're using the correct email address and I advise coming up with a completely new password just in case since you mentioned having multiple different ones. This is in order to make sure you register a new password in the system.

 

Something else that comes to mind is to test the whole process on a different device (preferably desktop) and even in an incognito-window in the browser.
