Facebook full name not showing up on Spotify

I have tried on my mobile, desktop and the actual website but my profile name on Spotify is not matching up with Facebook. Is it a privacy setting? I've unlinked and re-linked it to Facebook multiple times. Right now the only way to find me is to type in my jumble of letters and numbers username or scroll through every single Lauren that is on Spotify. Plz halp.

Thanks for getting in touch!

Could you login on the website and go to Privacy Settings? Check if you have opted out of Spotify processing your Facebook data. When you opt out there, it keeps your account usable but it will stop using a lot of data, for example your name. You can read here what information exactly.

Log in on your Facebook profile as well and make sure that you have granted Spotify access to your personal information, for example your friends list.

Give it 48 hours and your information should be displayed again. Hope it works!

It's still not working. I'll just have to share my profile with people so they can find me I guess. 😕

Did you enable Facebook data processing from your privacy settings: https://www.spotify.com/account/privacy/ ?

In case it takes too long, or nothing happens after 48 hours. Go to Facebook.com, under apps settings, and remove the Spotify app from there. Log out from Facebook and from Spotify, and log back in on your Spotify account. This might refresh the settings.

If you connected your account to Facebook, but can't see your Facebook profile name in the app, I'd suggest checking out the steps here to get it fixed.

It's also possible to add a Spotify display name in the Android mobile app, which will show instead of your Facebook name. Head here to learn more about this.
