Family Premium > Free > Family Premium | Can we restore user playlists, etc?

Solved!

Family Premium > Free > Family Premium | Can we restore user playlists, etc?

My Question or Issue

  • I had a Family Premium plan
  • My sister was added as a member and curated playlists.
  • I needed to save money and went to a Free account.
  • My sister wants to renew to Premium.

Is there a way to restore her playlists, follows, etc. either by renewing my (current) Free account to Premium or perhaps creating her own?

Hey there @bearhandss,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

Even if you used to be part of the same Family plan, you and your family members' Spotify accounts are still separate from each other. This means that your sister can subscribe to Premium using the same account that she previously joined the Family plan with. This way, she get to keep her current account with all her playlists and followers - it's only the subscription status that will change. Just ask her to head over to the Premium page to get started.

We hope this helps!
