Family account user cannot log in

Family account user cannot log in

A family account user under my acount, [removed sensitive info], cannot log in or resest password. When going to log in the error about username or password being wrong pops up. Resetting the password doesn't find the account but I see it with that user name in managing the family plan. I assume it's locked out, I can't log into new things but exiting things are still logged in.

Hey there,

 

Thanks for coming to the Community. 

 

The name you've shared isn't an username, but a display name instead 🙂

 

This means that it's not unique and multiple users can have the same display name.

 

I recommend asking the member of the Premium Family plan to check their email inbox for one or multiple emails from Spotify. They can also try logging in using their email address and password.
