Free Trial Not Working on App?

Free Trial Not Working on App?

I downloaded the app and usually it says "You have 48 hours of premium remaining" or something like that but it doesn't show up when I download it and sign up. And when I try to play a song, it tells me to buy premium or start a radio station. I tried downloading it like a week ago and this happened, and I downloaded it again today and it's still not working. I've already tried it like 5 times. What's wrong with it?

Hi,

The 48-hr trial is only activated once on your device, and your trial was used in 2012.  To use Spotify on your mobile, you will need to upgrade to the Premium service.  You can activate a 30-day trial at this link using your credit card or Paypal.  This will charge you at the end of the trial, but you can cancel here to stop the renewal if you do not wish to stay on the Premium.

No, I'm not signing in with this account. This is the account I use on my computer. I'm talking about when I sign up for a new account on my phone. I usually just delete the app and re-download it, sign up and use the 48-hour trial again, but when I re-download it and sign up for a new account the 48-hour trial doesn't activate.

If you have already activated the trial on that device then you will need to subscribe to continue using Premium.

Hi, me again. I accidentally closed out of the page and it logged me out. I tried to log back into my account but apparently it doesn't want to let me do that. I don't know how else to word my question, I thought I was clear enough but I guess you still don't understand it. This is like the 3rd time I've tried to get help on this website and every time the moderators haven't been helpful in the slightest. You might want to work on that. Bye.

You mentioned that you delete the Spotify app from your phone and create a new account in order to continue using our 48 hour trial.

48 hour trials are now limited to one trial per device - if you have already activated the 48 hour trial on that device then you won't be able to activate it again.

If you would like to continue using Spotify on that device then you will either need to activate our 30 day trial (if you haven't previously) or subscribe to the Premium service. If you have any questions please let us know.
