Handelsbanken doesn't allow to pay for Premium

Hi!

I have tried to upgrade to Premium several times now but the payment page keeps saying:

This is not a valid card number.  Please verify that you entered your card number correctly using only numbers, without spaces and dashes.

Bank: Handelsbanken

Card: Maestro

Both international transactions and online transactions are open. I've asked the bank and they said everything should be working properly.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Some cards such as Maestro and Visa Electron are not valid to pay for Spotify subscriptions because they lack credit-like facilities. You might be able to use PayPal as your payment method with that card added, but I am not sure. 

If you need more help regarding payment, I would strongly suggest you talk to the payments team directly using the online contact form as they will be able to give you the most up-to-date information.
