How can I adjust my recommended music?

How can I adjust my recommended music?

I have 3 music folders and each has Russian music in their recommended playlist. I dont listen to such music anymore and would like to adjust those lists according to my own playlists

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out.

The most simple way to adjust your recommendations is to simply listen to your current favorite music. That way, the false recommendations should get less and less. 🙂

In addition to that, you can also use the exclude playlists feature to exclude playlists that contain music you don't want to see in your recommendations from your profile.

You can also use the Not interested button in the Music feed - the content will then get filtered out from future recommendations.

Lastly, if there are individual songs in playlists, you can hide them via the three dots menu > Hide song. That way, the app won't play them.

I hope this helps! 🙂

Spotify recommendations work kinda strange. I have no ambient songs in my playlist, I hate ambient, but Spotify keeps providing me with songs of this genre. I even "dislike" these sort of songs in the app, but Spotify STILL keeps to recommend them to me. I have no clue how to fix it. Dear Spotify support team, I really would like you to help me with this problem.
