How to resset account so that it learns preferences again but keep playlists?

How to resset account so that it learns preferences again but keep playlists?

Hello all.

I would like to reset my account so that it learns my preferences again but I would like to keep my playlists.

Do you know if this is possible? I would like to have my account just like when I started spotify without nowing what I like.

Thanks in advance for your help and best regards,

Hans

Hey @hgaedke

This is currently not possible.

You can create a new account and then contact support so they can help you transfer all your playlists to the new account. Include the new username with the description of your problem when you are contacting support.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Hi MattSuda.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply!

Is it possible to create a sub-account in a familly plan that is linked to the same email as the main (administrator account)?

If this is possible I could create a new account for me (the administator) to start all over again.

Thanks for your help and best regards,

Hans

Ah, yeah that becomes tricky when you have a family plan on the main account. I don't think that is possible.

I suggest contacting support to see what they can do.
