I have to update emailadress, trough facebook, but new email on Pb dont transfer to Spotify

I have to update emailadress, trough facebook, but new email on Pb dont transfer to Spotify

I created my Spotify account by Facebook, and is redirected to Fb when I want to edit my details. I have a new e-mail address, but even when I have updated this on Fb, the old e-mail address continue to show on my Spotify account. How do I manage to change personal details, my old e address will soon be unavailable!!

Hey @Trine4

My suggestion would be for you to create a new account with this new email address, different from the one you used previously. That will give you a Spotify username, so you won't have to rely on Facebook to login.

Once you've made it, fill out the contact form and someone from Spotify will help you migrate your Premium privileges (if you have them), library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.

If you like you can link this new account to your Facebook again, but now you won't have to rely in the Facebook login process, since you'll have your very own Spotify username.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Thank you for your reply! Yes, this is something that I considered, dont really want to rely on Facebook.... but was afraid to loose all lists etc, and dont know how easy it is to migrate the two accounts...I have a look into it - thanks again! 🙂
