I really don't get this..

I really don't get this..

I've been contacting the customer service of Spotify for the past 4 hours.. 

First had to give them the code o my card and all, seeing as I wasn't able to get my premium back up, and now I just had an e-mail back saying:

  

 

Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. 

 

I have checked the details of the Giftcard that you purchased and it doesn't like it was activated in the store it was purchased from.

 

If you take it back to the store then they will be able to activate it for you. You should then be able to redeem without a problem. 

 

If you are still unable to redeem it then please get back to us.

 


Now I have the receipt laying right infront of me saying: E-sales activated... 

Aka the voucher is activated, so it makes no sense at all..

 

I also mentioned that more of us seem to have problems with redeeming our premium accounts or purchasing premium right now. 

 

Hope they will fix this ASAP.

You should email them back with the activation ID - it should be printed on the receipt 🙂

Liam, I gave them the PIN numer, card number, the number of when you purchase it, everything.

Heck even the CARD # number on the back of the card. 

 

I just hope they can fix this soon, seeing as I'm not the only one who's having problems with it right now.

And as soon as they fix it, I'll be a happy puppy and bake cupcakes, I guess c;

Well, there isn't really anything we can do here. You'll just have to wait until they verify that is has actually been registered 😞

Let's just hope they  fix this ASAP, so we won't have a lot of cranky people around here, and I'm not going to be one of them.

Previous one was from Cambridge, and the one before that.... it didn't say a country or a state... ;s

9:30 pm here 🙂 and that's GMT+1  so they still have an hour and a half ;-). 

But pretty sure it's just the spotify site which is having troubles. 

Always buy the same card at the same place, same receipt and all, never had any troubles ;-).

Today I try to redeem my code, it doesn't work, page just completely refreshes at both the redeem and the premium section. 

then had various errors that I couldn't enter the spotify site ;x. 

So I think it's a technical problem, instead of a card problem.

Say hello to British Summer Time, when we all lose an hour because the clocks go forward at 2AM (it goes straight to 3AM). It happened on Easter Sunday this year...

Bridgeyxox - Just to clarify, it's 20.36 here at the moment. You are an hour ahead. Liam, you might need to check your watch.

If you could send a picture of your receipt through to Customer Support, they'll be able to see that it's been purchased and they'll sort it, don't worry. The issue is, anyone can send giftcard details through after simply taking a card from a store. We'll just need a copy of the receipt to confirm the purchase, that's all.

Oh you guys, Wish I could take an easy picture here. means I should do it with my phone, upload it on some site and send the picture over.

 

You really messed me around there Liam, was pretty sure when I was in London last year, in August that the clock was one hour off. 🙂 

 

Anyways, like I said, think this might be more of a technical problem with the site, seeing as I'm not the only one here who's suffering this exact problem *nods*. And if it's just the card, I'm going over to the store tomorrow. 😕 

 

But hey we will see if I'm able to redeem it as soon as that page works again.. I mean it works but it just refreshes. :')
