Impossible to purchase spotify premium

I have had premium for a few months. Then I got a new card and forgot to change the card number on my payment information, of course spotify stopped working. However, I have now changed the card number and tried to pay for premium again but it just won't register. It still says I have spotify free! What do I have to do?
