Issue with playing songs on spotify

So i joined someones jam on spotify on the spotify web player, however i had to then install the app if i wanted to listen in on the jam. However i then uninstalled the app after as i prefer the web player, but upon returning to the web player it no longer plays anything even when i try. Can anyone please help with the issue?

Do you get any error messages when you're trying to use the Web Player? If you haven't tried anything yet, I'd recommend the following:

• Make sure your browser is up-to-date. Check and update it in your browser’s Help section.
• Try opening it in a private/incognito window.
• Try a different browser.
• Try a different network if possible (a different WiFi or a hotspot from your phone).
