Link google account to my current spotify account

When I created my Spotify account (back in 2016) I linked it to Facebook.

Then you grow up, you stop giving likes to random people, and gmail becomes your best friend (sigh).

Spotify prevents me to get rid of my old Facebook account.

I'd like to link it to my Google account. Or at least, it would be good just to set a new password and unlinking  it from Facebook.

How can I do? Thanks

I've walked the same path with facebook, to the point the only reasons stopping me from deleting the fb account is some work stuff and... Spotify. : ) But you can stop using fb for logging into Spotify - set a password to go instead!

All you have to do is this:

1. Go to Spotify's password reset form.
2. Enter your Facebook email address
3. Check your inbox for an email from us to reset your password

Next time you log in, you'll use the email address you have on your Facebook account, and the new password you've just made.

Just make sure to create a nice strong password. 🙂
