My Question or Issue

I am considering hosting a Jam Session and it is a need to logistically understand if Spotify can cut it or if working with a different platform is better. I have searched the web and there are mainly articles from 2023 after the launch saying the limit is 32 users. Hopefully, this was a rollout test number and the numbers have been drastically changed. Thanks in advance.

Hey @Gee777,

Thanks for coming to the Community!

How many people are you planning to use the Jam feature with?

Let me know 🙂

There isn't a fixed number as of right now. There are hundreds with the possibility of hitting thousands. The target listeners are slightly 10k though not all will be joining even if it is set up for various reasons.

Hey @Gee777,

Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, this feature may not meet your needs then, as it isn’t designed to support such a large number of participants.

I hope this clears things up! 🙂

Almost. What is the max number though? That is the main worry here.

Hey again, @Gee777,

While I can’t provide an exact number for the maximum participants in a Jam, Spotify is always working to improve and innovate the feature to provide the best possible listening experience for users.

Keep an eye out for future updates as the feature continues to evolve. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
