Moved back to US, can't log into spotify

I have returned to the States from Germany and still can't log into Spotify, any suggestions?

I get a message that says your contry does not match the one set in your profile

Could you try one of these (removing the folders specified) and let us know if you see the same message afterwards.

The link supplied just led to a bunch of general questions. I assume I need to reinstall spotify but the didn't say anything about removing a particular folder
