Hey there, I have encountered a strange situation on Spotify.
A little over a week ago, I released my debut single "TRANQUIL" via DistroKid on Spotify. Yesterday I noticed my account was duplicated.
1. Original Account
What you're seeing above is the original account. As of right now, I cannot edit the page because Spotify for Artists has not yet verified my request to do so. Because of this, the logo is automatically set to TRANQUIL's cover.
As you scroll down, you can see that there is no Discography section, despite having a single in the Popular category.
2. Secondary/Duplicate Account
This is the account I noticed yesterday. As you can see, it has no logo and there are no tracks in the Popular category. It also has less monthly listeners, but from what I know, the monthly listeners seem to be the result of a bot or AI affecting my account.
When you scroll down on this account, the Discography section appears with TRANQUIL. The other page does not have this. Everything else is pretty much the same.
3. Final Things
A friend of mine was streaming TRANQUIL earlier on the right hand friend page, but things appear strange here. There are two OK GRIMES links here. The first one, next to the single title, links to the logoless version of the account. When you click on the link next to the strange symbol, it takes you to the original profile with the logo.
As of this time the only action I have done regarding my account is attempt to send a request to Spotify for Artists. The first and second time were rejected. I sent my third request a day and a half ago, but at this moment I have no response. I contacted Spotify for Artists support, but after 40 minutes of waiting I got no response so I decided to send my message here.
My overall motive is to remove the secondary/logoless account. It does not recognize my followers or non-botted listeners.

This happened to me and 3 other artists I know. Spotify is experiencing some kind of major malfunction right now and they don't seem to be aware of it. Reach out to your distributor and ask them to contact spotify and remedy this.
