No push notifications or emails for new releases

My Question or Issue

I do not receive push notifications or e-mails for any new artists releases. In Spotify's settings on the mobile app, I have recommended music and new music notifications enabled for both push and email. They are also all enabled in Android's settings, and Spotify has notification permissions allowed. I could not receive notifications on my previous phone either, which was a Samsung A21s with Android 12. How do I enable these notifications? I'd be fine with getting either push or email to work, I would just like at least one of them to work.

Thanks for reaching out.

If you're not receiving email or push notifications, we'd first suggest making sure that emails from Spotify are not landing in your spam/junk folders. Also, please check if all notification settings are enabled for the Spotify app. You should be able to find those under Settings - Apps - Spotify - Notifications.
