Not receiving email with username and password

Solved!

Not receiving email with username and password

I normally sign on to spotify through my facebook account, but Id like to deactivate my facebook. I found out that one can do this by requesting a device password, so I did that... but the email containing my username and password has not been received. Ive resent it about 4 times now with no luck. Any advice?

Hey @AaronPappal,

If you created your Spotify account with Facebook, you need to create a new account with a different email address from the one you use for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username of your choice, so you won't have to rely on a Facebook account.

Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges (if you have them), library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.

Once you do this, you'll be able to deactivate your Facebook.

Hope it helps. 🙂
