Playlists missing: Spotify randomly created a new account?

Hello!

First off thanks to whomever is taking the time to read my issue. I'm experiencing a rather unusual problem. For the last week or so I had been unable to log into my spotify account through facebook. The login screen would just "shake" a little bit before rejecting my information (never actually gave a rejection error). I exclusively used the web player, so figuring it was an issue with that I downloaded the desktop application.
Well, the desktop app had me sign in again, which I did, however it immediately crashed. Figuring it was a problem with the facebook integration I removed the spotify app from my account and logged back in, assuming that it would recreate the app in my list and hopefully allow me to log in through the desktop application.

It did. However all my playlists were gone. After a bit of sleuthing I found that someone I knew was following me, so I checked the account that they were following which had been re-named 1243366336. Yup, all my playlists were there. It looks like spotify created a new account when I logged back in via facebook.

Would it be possible to have my playlists from "1243366336" restored to my account, or will I have to manually add each song to a brand new list?

Also is there some way to prevent this from happening in the future?
