Playlists not public

Playlists not public

I made a formerly private playlist public last week. It's not showing up on my profile. Why?

Hey @bob707, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you change your public profile settings following these steps from the Spotify desktop app? If youโ€™ve set it where Publish my new playlists on my profile option is turned ON, you should see any public playlists you create on your profile.

If you are still having trouble, can you reply with a link to your playlist? That way I can take a closer look and see if itโ€™s showing up on my end.

Looking out for your reply!

Hey there, @bob707,

Thanks for the reply!

Try clicking the three dots menu of a playlist and selecting Add to profile (make sure you've saved it in Your Library first via the (+) button) - this should make the playlist appear under the Public playlists section of your profile.

It's also worth checking if you have multiple Spotify accounts as the playlists might be located on another one. This article has more info on how to proceed, check it out.

I also noticed that the playlist covers feature the Spotify logo: as mentioned in our Playlist User Image Guidelines, the Spotify logo and registered trademarks owned by Spotify should not be used on unauthorized playlist covers, so therefore I must ask you to update the image of your playlists or they will be removed.

Take care.
